In 1986 Pope John Paul II, invited the leaders of the 12 major religions of the world
to come to Assisi Italy to pray for peace. THEY CAME!
With the intention for Ecumenism ( A movement promoting worldwide unity among religions through
greater cooperation and improved understanding),
I will share with you now those 12 prayers. I will share
now, the short versions. Later on, I will post the long versions.

(I admit that I have not heard of several of these religions until I was made aware of the
Sacred Office of Peace, which holds these 12 prayers. I may not understand what is meant
by some of the words, but I accept because they hold the intention of PEACE.)
